The PGP key link on the home page is a link to my Public key. You can save it then import it into your PGP software and use it to encrypt files/emails before you send them to me. Items that have been encrypted with my public key can only be decrypted by my Private key. The idea is that I am the only one with the private key, therefore I am the only one who can decrypt the items. You can also use my public key to verify any files that I have digitally signed with my private key to ensure that I am the one who those files truly originated from.
PGP stands for Pretty Good Privacy. You can google it if you want to know more. Here is a good resource.
